First of all I take the opportunity to wish all the Vinians & their family members, a very happy New Year 2009.
May this New Year bring peace, joy & prosperity to you all.
We are organizing our old boys’ get together of Vinians (Bihar Chapter) on Sunday, 11 January, 2009 at swimming pool side, New Patna Club, Birchand Patel Marg, Patna.
The Programme shall start from 2:30 PM and shall continue till dinner. A live DJ shall be there for you all to enjoy dance & music.
We hope you all will participate in a big way along with your family members.

| Vidya Niketan (BPS) Old Boys Association (VINOBA) would be celebrating its 17th Annual get-together on 21 December 2008 at Mann Public School, Holambi, Delhi - 110082. All VINIANS are invited with their families to enjoy a day of horse-riding, basketball, cricket and lots of fun. Hot and sumptuous lunch will served at the school dining hall. | Mr. Hem C Pande has joined as Principal of Shree Krishna Pranami Public School, Siwani as Principal on 11th May 2008. Mr. Pande has expressed his sincere thanks and deep gratitude to all VINIANS for their support and co-operation. He also expressed sincere thanks and gratitude to all his colleagues and well-wishers at Birla Public School, BET, BITS, Birla Museum, CEERI and local people of Pilani for their kind support, co-operation, love and affection during his stay at Pilani. Mr. Hem C Pande has been associated with Birla Public School, Pilani for a period of thirty years, as a Senior Teacher, Housemaster, NCC Officer, Bursar and Academic Coordinator etc. Mr. Pande joined BPS on 13 October 1978 and left on 10 May 2008.
We VINIANS wish him all the best in his new endeavour.

| The 15th Annual get together of VINIANS was held on Sunday, 24 Decemeber 2006 at Mann Public School, Holambi, New Delhi. This year’s annual get together witnessed a record gathering. A little more than 100 VINIANS with their families were present. VINIANS form all walks of life and all across the country participated in the get together. Parasailing was organised in the school playground. A friendly basketball match was held at the basketball court. A game of Tambola was organised in front lawn of the school. The Lunch was organised in the school dining hall (and of course the invincible Kalia Ji ki kari was there!)
The 15th Annual get together was graced by the Principal and The President of VINOBA Mrs. Kalsy. Former teachers of BPS Mr. Upadhyay, Mr. A.K.G. Chaudhury and Mr. A.K.Gautam were present during the occasion. Mrs. Rajbans, former English teacher of the (1963-64) batch also showered her blessing to all the VINIANS.
Post lunch all the VINIANS gathered in the amphitheatre of the school were the Christmas cake was cut. All former teachers and the regional secretaries of VINOBA were felicitated.

| Fourteen Employees and the Junior School Head Master Mr. Attar Singh of Birla Public School were felicitated by VINOBA for completion of 20 glorious years of service. In a simple function held during the morning assembly of Birla Public School the Principal of Birla Public School Mrs. Pam Kalsay felicitated the Junior School Headmaster Mr. Attar Singh for his 20 glorious years of service in Birla Public School. He was presented with a shawl and a memento. Fourteen employees Birla Public School were also felicitated for completion of 20 years of service in BPS. They were presented with a dinner set consisting of 51 stainless steel utensils and a suitcase.
Mr. J.S.Mann presided over the function. Also present were couple of old boys and their family.
